In the 114 short years of Zebulon's existence, our ability to foster an unparalleled sense of community that welcomes everyone has not only been our town motto, but it is also what propelled us from our humble train stop beginnings to becoming a flourishing town on the brink of a new era.
Through those years, we’ve joined together countless times to parade down Gannon Ave., to reap harvests, to mourn, to celebrate, to lend a helping hand, and to support each other. The time has come for us to join together on a slightly different front.
Uniting as a community is more imperative than ever to secure confidence in our steering into the next chapter of our history. We must unite now to ensure we are taking advantages of only the opportunities that are in line with our community’s unique needs and wants and planning for an even brighter, more prosperous future. Together we will continue to grow successfully by building on our town’s strengths and traditions, enhancing our already remarkable quality of life, assuring our safety is always top priority, and we will make Zebulon the beacon on the hill other municipalities emulate.
We the people all must have a seat at the table through our representation to guarantee successful smart growth. This is why I am running and am coming to you. I humbly ask you to allow me to be your trusted elected commissioner to serve you on the Board of Commissioners. I will be your voice on all the issues that are important to you.
My Zebulon-born Grandpa June Miles taught me more than I could ever realize while priming tobacco and picking cucumbers right off Old Bunn Rd so many years ago. Perhaps among the most important lessons is to always make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Throughout my life, no matter what hat I was wearing - Marines, Drug Enforcement Administration, photographer, entrepreneur, budding farmer – I’ve continued to strive to honor this lesson by working hard, working smart, reaching out to help another human, and to always be of service.
These two words say it all. My candidacy is simple – it is a calling and I am a trustworthy doer. I was born into a family who works smart, serves the greater good, and helps others. Zebulon is my home, always has been, always will be. My interests in the successes, progress, and accomplishments of this town supersede my own personal desi
